Omer is evacuated with his family from their home in the north to the center of the country. In a public park, he meets Daniel and Libi, who are collecting donations for displaced children. Omer keeps his story a secret and convinces them to build a camp there. The friends discover a rare and weary bird and try to help it. A mysterious neighbor brings the three together on a rescue mission for the bird that has disappeared, during which Omer confronts his fears and his secret.
