Alik the librarian is in love with his books and is afraid of the outside world. Two bumbling secret agents accidently leave

a very special bookmark in his library. This brings about a wonderful magic spell which awakens the characters from a fairy tale. The knight Pompadour and his enemy Shiraz, the terrible sorcerer, come to life and Alik has no choice. He must face his fears as he is drawn into a crazy adventure, and learns the meaning of “true heroism”.
